SECURITY & ALARM MONITORING

Sonic Fire and Security Ltd’s security and alarm monitoring solutions provide a highly important false security alarm management system, an integrated CCTV and public address capability and a real-time fault detection system.

BT RedcareIt is widely acknowledged that traditional bell-only security alarms are not sufficient for any organisation in the 21st Century. Security alarm monitoring is required to guarantee that your premises are properly protected 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

ACTIVE MONITORING
Active alarm monitoring connects your security alarm system to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) via a phone line and also automatically checks that the phone line is always there. This is the service that RedCare supplies.
Your in safe hands With RedCare's security alarm monitoring service because your alarm will be delivered to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and acted on within seconds.

TWO SIGNALPATH ACTIVE MONITORING
RedCare works on an existing BT phone line, so you save the cost of the installation and rent of an additional line without the hassle of being charged for any added calls, and with a small compatible modem device, RedCare can even work on the same line as a fax machine, a PC or other digital equipment.
The ACPO Policy 2000 requires all new security alarm monitoring systems to be capable of sending two alarm signals to the alarm monitoring centre. This enables the confirmation of an intruder on your premises and that it is not a false alarm. By applying two security alarm monitoring paths, if one of the security alarm monitoring paths is attacked the other continues to monitor for any further alarms and transmits them as 'confirmed activations'. RedCare GSM and CSL Dual COM plus are capable of sending a confirmed activation if the radio path or telephone line fails. This makes it the most advanced and secure alarm monitoring service in the world.

PASSIVE MONITORING
This is when the security alarm system is connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) via a specified phone line using a Digital Communicator. When the security alarm is activated, the security alarm monitoring centre receives notification and calls the police. However, if the phone line has been damaged in any way, the security alarm signal wont be able to reach the security alarm monitoring centre. These kinds of alarm monitoring systems usually require a dedicated phone line, that will charge an additional annual rental cost.
